I have been thinking about this for a while now but haven’t had a chance yet to add this awesome idea to my marketing tool box for my clients. I have thought about how this collaboration idea could be applied across many other industries and thought it might be interesting for small businesses owners and could spark some thought of your own!
So What The?
On a recent lunch outing I discovered that a brewery in the industrial area of Capalaba called Bacchus Brewery invite food trucks along to their venue for lunch and dinner each week. While the brewery does offer some dining options, they are not extensive and may not always appeal to a wide range of potential customers.
To combat this, and I believe to make connections for themselves in the food and beverage industry they have begun collaborating with innovative caterers who offer a wide array of dining options. Each day of the week they have a different food truck or caterer at the brewery and advertise these events through social media.
From what I have seen on my visits to the brewery, the idea has been a great success and has bought with it customers that may not have known about or even thought to take their family or work colleagues to a brewery in the back streets of a East Side brewery.
Food and booze are a match made in heaven and Bacchus have exploited the emerging food truck trend to their advantage and they are doing a bloody good job of it!
Now, it is time to brainstorm how this innovative collaboration idea can be deployed in your small business. Not sure? At Social For Small Business we chomp at the bit for a good brainstorming session. We can help you come up with some collaboration ideas of your own.
